A win for green energy: Wollastonite increases natural gas production and reduces CO2 emissions in sewage sludge
March 24, 2023
In this study, wollastonite had a pronounced effect on reducing CO2 production and increasing methane production simultaneously. The CO2 also precipitated as calcium carbonate. This is a big win for biogas production and carbon sequestration. And the sludge that goes out on the fields will have high levels of silicon, a perfect match for dairy farms growing lots of grass. Go wollastonite!
