Trees have it covered when it comes to recycling

Trees are top notch recyclers, and their leaves are a critical nutrient source to be recycled for next year’s growth. Mowing leaves (and not raking them) to chop them up can be an easy way to maintain a lawn and maybe even save some work. And the carbon stays in the soil too. Trees, what would we do without them?
